Two of the four German European Championship team gold medal winning ponies have been sold to new owners. Dornik's Donovan and Equestricons Lord Champion have switched owners to start a career with new riders as of the 2013 show season.

Anna Christina Abbelen, who has already extensively competed Furst on Tour in the junior riders' division, has sold her 8-year old German Riding Pony Dornik's Donovan (by Dornik B x Capri Moon) to Austrian Nicola Ahorner. The palomino gelding was a former licensed stallion. The pair got selected on the German team for the first time for the 2012 European Pony Championships in Fontainebleau, where they won team gold and placed fifth in the kur finals.

After the 2012 European Pony Championships, 15-year old Lena Charlotte Walterscheidt called ponies quits and her entire pony stock has been sold to Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, whose daughter Marie will be training with German team coach Connie Endres.

Lena Charlotte and the now 10-year old German Riding pony gelding Equestricons Lord Champion (by Le Champion x Amelio) were the 2011 German Pony Championships and won individual test and kur silver at the 2011 European Pony Championships.

At the 2012 European Pony Championships, Walterscheidt won team gold but was in tears over being Germany's fourth team rider and missing out on the Kur Finals after placing 8th in the individual test. The Walterscheidt pony stock includes Lord Champion, Don Davidoff, and Der Kleine Konig.
