The Australian equestrian federation has announced a special dressage pony series for young ponies and FEI level ponies, which will celebrate its inaugural Rising Star Novice Pony Championship and FEI Pony Test Championship at the 2012 CDI-W Werribee 6 - 9 December 2012.
The Rising Star Novice Pony Championship is a promotional competition designed by the Australian Dressage Committee to provide a pathway for junior riders aged 10 to 16 years to FEI Pony Test competition.
The FEI Pony Test Championship will showcase up and coming junior riders aged 12 to 16 years competing on ponies that have been educated in accordance with the Training Scale and aims to put them on track to higher levels of competition in the future.
The Championship Final for both the Rising Star Novice Pony and the FEI Pony Test will be held at the 2012 CDI-W Werribee, Victoria from 6 - 9 December 2012.
The ADC is delighted to advise that Jill Cobcroft, who is a strong supporter of Pony Dressage, has sponsored the event to the tune of $2000 cash for the Final.
