2012 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses

After the six year old’s qualifier at the World Young Horse Championships some of the five year olds entered the arena again – those who did not go straight to the final by winning their groups in the class yesterday. Winner of today’s consolation final was the Oldenburg 240,000 euro top seller Di Magic OLD.

Yesterday the Dimaggio x Rohdiamant-Stallion (breeder: Christian Niemann, Germany, owner: Bernadette Brune, France) seemed to struggle with the atmosphere in Verden. Ridden by Alizee Froment (FRA) Di Magic was not relaxed throughout the test. He got a 7.66. Today it was much better and he scored 8.7 in total.

Second place went to  Cachet with Mirelle van Kemenade-Witlox for The Netherlands. Yesterday the Jazz x Ferro son (breeder: J. Lamers, owner: Decor Son) had a 6.8 for his walk, today it was a 7.8. In total he got an 8.46 which put him sharply in front of his team mate Charmeur.

With Emmelie Scholtens the KWPN licensed chestnut Charmeur by Florencio x Jazz (breeder: H. van Helvoirt, owner: N.F. Witte, The Netherlands scored an 8.4 today. Yesterday it was 8.08.
