Westfalian Breeding News
The Westfalian breed society has announced the names of the combinations which have been selected to represent the Westfalian breed in the riding horse classes at the 2012 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany.
Based on the results achieved at the 2012 Westfalian Regional Championships in Handorf, Germany, last weekend, the following selection has been made:
3-year old Mares and Geldings
- Manuela Nitschke - Rapunzel W (by Rock Forever x Laureus)
- Jacqueline Schufr - For Your Best (by Fidertanz)
- reserve: Andrea Muller Kerstan - Cabiria S (by Christ x K2)
- reserve: Christiane Ulmker - Saona S (by Schumacher x Florestan)
3-year old Stallions
- Hermann Burger - Escolar (by Estobar x Furst Piccolo)
- Lisa Neukater - Quotenkönig (by Quaterback x Furst Piccolo)
- Tanja Krampe - Sir Fidergold (by Sarkozy)
4-year old Mares and Geldings
- Geertje Hesse - Rock Star (by Rockwell x Weinberg)
- Silke Ottenjann - For Comtess (by Florenciano x Show Star)
4-year old Stallions
- Beatrice Buchwald - Superio (by Sorento)
- reserve: Roland Volkmann - Bertolini (by Belissimo M)
Two horses have received a special qualification as their riders are currently at the Olympics and couldn't qualify them in Handorf
- Sebastian Langehanenberg on the 3-year old stallion Daley Thomspon (by Damon Hill)
- Helen Langehanenberg on the 4-year old gelding Damon's Satellite (by Damon Hill)
