For San Remo, Price Highlight 2012 South German Foal Auction

The bay colt For San Remo (by Furstenball x Stedinger), which won bronze at the 2012 German Foal Championships, became the price highlight of the 2012 South German Foal Auction in Nordlingen, Germany, on 28 July 2012. 

Bred and owned by Jakob and Maria Reglauer, For San Remo sold for 36,000 euro to Dr. Susan Konrad. The second most expensive dressage foal was Detroit (by Destano x Lanciano), bred by Martin Niedermair. This colt sold for 16,250 euro.

Gestut Elstertal's For Ever (by Furstenball x Royal Dance) sold for 14,000 euro. The same price was paid for Lost and Found (by Licosto x Regazzoni) bred by Erwin Feichtenbeiner. Frank Weichold's Win Win (by Foundation x Conteur) sold for a knock down price of 15,000 euro.

The most expensive show jumping foal was a Diarado x Landadel, which sold for 19,000 euro.

The auction collection included seventy-two foals and the average sales price was 7,508 euro
