French pony chef d'equipe Alizee Froment and the French Equestrian Federation announced the team of riders which will represent France at the 2012 European Pony Championships on home turf in Fontainebleau, France, on 17 - 22 July 2012.

The French pony team includes

  • Camille Boireau - Hesselteich's Desert Rose (by Golden Dream x Lukas)
  • Caroline Faujour - Tim (by Helekis Timjan x Amiral)
  • Capucine Molliex - PSW Desperado (by Don't Worry x Domingo)
  • Céline Brauns - Neervelds Blamoer (by Bokkesprong Czardas x Valentino)

The reserve rider is Léonie Marnas on routinier Italic des Landes.

Clarissa Stickland and her German Riding pony mare Diana sadly missed out on team selection as her chestnut pony got injured in a trailer accident on Monday. The pony knocked herself under the chin either during transport and sustained a laceration underneath her tongue which has been operated on. The pony is out for a couple of months due to this unfortunate accident.
