Edward Gal's Undercover and Romanov Added to Dutch Olympic A-Team

Following the 2012 Dutch Dressage Championships, Dutch team coach Sjef Janssen was able to add three horses to the Olympic A-team in the lead up to official Dutch team selection for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Brand new Dutch Grand Prix champion Edward Gal saw his two horses Undercover (by Ferro x Donnerhall) and Romanov (by Rohdiamant x Grundstein II) both added to the A-team, while he was already listed in it with Sisther de Jeu. Gal has not competed his 2011 European Championship Dutch team mare internationally since January 2012.

A-team member Hans Peter Minderhoud was also added to the Dutch B-team with Silvia Rizzo's Danish warmblood mare Donna Silver

The Dutch Olympic A-team now includes:

  • Adelinde Cornelissen – Parzival
  • Edward Gal  – Sisther de Jeu, Undercover, Romanov
  • Anky van Grunsven  – Salinero
  • Patrick van der Meer  - Uzzo
  • Hans Peter Minderhoud - Tango
