Finest Dream and Weihe Gluck, Top Sellers at 2012 Vechta Summer Mixed Sales

Finest Dream and foal Weihe Gluck became the top selling horses at the 2012 Summer Mixed Sales auction of Oldenburg bred sport horses and foals in Vechta, Germany, on 2 June 2012.

Twenty-nine young sport horses were offered for sale at auction and nine sold aboard. The price highlight was Finest Dream (by Faustinus x Sir Donerhall I x Akzent II). This mare sold for 39,000 euro to Dr. Kerstin Klieber. The second most expensive sport horse was Ratinas Highlight
(by Hotline x Rubinstein I x Woermann) which sold for 28,000 euro to Bavaria.

The average price for a sport horse at this auction was 12,776 euro.

Twenty-four foals were offered for sale and the three Totilas foals in the collection all became the best selling foals. The top seller was the embryo transfer foal Weihe Gluck (by Totilas out of Weihegold (by Don Schufro x Sandro Hit). This filly sold for 40,000 euro to Finland. The filly Total Result (by Totilas x Rubinstein I x Argentinus) sold for 18,000 euro to Holland and the colt Toffee Fee (by Totilas x Sunny-Boy x Rubinstein I) stayed in Germany for 17,500 euro. The Bretton Woods x De Niro colt Bravouros moved to Westfalia for 17,000 euro.

The average price for a foal was 8.771 euro.
