Twenty small tour riders were able to qualify themselves for the 2012 Dutch Dressage Championships held at the Haarlemmer Lake in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, on 6 - 10 June 2012. Sixty-two Dutch riders fulfiled the selection criteria and the top 20 highest scoring riders are eligible to compete at the National Championships in three weeks.
Three selection trials were held in Almelo, Uden and Ermelo, where riders could collect scores. The two best results counted for the ranking and each rider is only able to qualify a maximum of two horses.
The leader in the ranking is Emmelie Scholtens aboard the KWPN licensed stallion Apache (by UB 40) with a 72.24% and 74.47% qualification score. She's followed by Adelinde Cornelissen on the black KWPN mare Tiara (by Jazz) with 72.57% and 69.87%.
