On the second observation day and selection trials for the Dutch horses for the 2012 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, the Dutch selectors Wim Ernes, Gert van den Hoorn and Johan Hamminga added nine horses to the collection which now includes thirty-two 5-year olds and 6-year olds.
The second observation day took place on Wednesday 18 April at the KNHS headquarters in Ermelo. The few horses which were unable to attend the first trial now got the opportunity to present themselves for selection. Nine horses were added to the long list and two were dropped.
Newcomers are Chapter Leatherdale, Chippendale, Chuppy Checker, Hexagons Charon, Arcadia's Beautiful Girl, Babushka, Beau Sejour, Brokaat and Banderas. The drop outs are Checavara and CSI.
The next selection trial is on Tuesday 24 April 2012.
