The 2012 KWPN licensing champion Etoine has been sold to Anne Schmidt of Tam Farm Dressage in Michigan, U.S.A. The black Vivaldi x Balzflug x Amor offspring was owned by Carolyn de Roo and VMF Stables.

Etoine became the unexpected KWPN Licensing Champion in 's Hertogenbosch and was not considered the crowds' nor buyers' favourite. His sales price at auction of 58,000 euro was indicative of that.

The gorgeous black stallion will now continue his breeding career in the U.S. and will participate in the 30-day stallion performance testing for the German Oldenburger Verband.

The stallion will prepared for the testing in The Netherlands. "Hereafter Etoine move(s) to America," said former owned De Roo. "President Dressage Stables and VMF Stables wishes Anne Schmidt much success with this fantastic stallion."

Schmidt and her sponsor Judith Sargent already bought Cubald D&R (by Tuschinski x Jazz) from the same Dutch owners.
