Besides the annual major championship, the CDIO Aachen is the biggest, best and most anticipated dressage competition of the year. The popularity of dressage at Aachen has increased year after year as tickets for this year's event are selling fast again.
For 2012 the tickets for Sunday's CDIO Kur to Music have already sold out a year ago. Saturday's CDIO Grand Prix Special tickets are officially sold out though a few tickets might be still available soon as some buyers cancel and return theirs for sale. There are still plenty of tickets on Wednesday and Thursday.
"Dressage at the CHIO aachen is booming, said managing director Michael Mronz.
The CDIO Aachen takes place on 29 June - 8 July 2012 and will be the last major dressage event, where the world's elite will appear en masse, before the Olympic Games.
