Rosa Maria Fradera Receives Spanish Federation's Gold Medal

At the inaugural Spanish Dressage Symposium in Madrid on 16 January 2012, Rosa Maria "Rosin" Fradera has received the Gold Medal from the Spanish Equestrian Federation for her efforts and dedication to dressage in Spain.

Javier Revuelta, president of the Spanish Equestrian Federation (RFHE), handed the medal to Rosin Fradera in recognition of the invaluable work she has done for the sport.

Sixteen years ago, Spain participated for the first time in the dressage Olympics in Atlanta, U.S.A. Since then dressage has evolved considerably in Spain having become the most popular Olympic equestrian discipline. Fradera has been instrumental in the development of the sport.

Approximately 200 people attended the first ever Spanish Dressage Symposium, held at the Alfredo Goyeneche auditorium in Madrid. Team trainer Jan Bemelmans and Luis Lucio were amongst the keynote speakers.

Fradera is chair of the Spanish RFHE dressage committee and an international dressage judge.
