Five Dressage Sires Approved at the 2012 Westfalian Late Licensing

Five dressage stallions were approved for breeding for the Westfalian Society at the 2012 Westfalian Late Licensingon 10 January 2012. All stallions gathered at 10 AM in the morning for the presentation in hand on hard surface.

Afterwards colts without stallion performance test results were seen moving in freedom, while the stallions with performance results were only presented in walk.

Amongst the five approved stallions was Jennifer Hoffmann's Prix St Georges horse Rubinio B. The dark bay was initially licensed for the Oldenburg society but now also got his green card for his own brand, the Westfalian studbook.

Five Thoroughbreds were presented for licensing in order to enoble the breed. Three of them received a positive verdict: Lucarelli xx, Saphir xx, and Seborga xx.

The approved dressage stallions are

  • Belconi (2009 Hanoverian by Belissimo M x Rubin Royal) - Owner: Wilhelm Ruscher-Konermann
  • Dalliano (2009 Oldenburg by De Koonig x  Farewell III) - Owner: Gestut Westfalenhof
  • Savoy (2009 Hanoverian by Sir Donnerhall I x Weltmeyer) - Owner: Sportpferde Schmidt
  • Lamborghini (2007 Westfalian by Lord Loxley x Pavarotti van de Helle) - Owner: Ruscher-Konermann 
  • Rubinio B (2003 Westfalian by Rubin Royal x Florestan) - Owner: Jennifer Hoffmann
