Jordi Domingo Leads Spanish Dressage Riders' Ranking of 2011

Spanish Grand Prix team rider Jordi Domingo is the leader of the 2011 Spanish Dressage riders Ranking which concluded with counting points on 29 December 2011.

The 30-year old Domingo and his 14-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Prestige (by Ferro) dominated the ranking with a strong 622,500 points, which were earned at six competitions during the 2011 show season. Domingo is originally from Villanueva y Geltru near Barcelona and trains with Jan Bemelmans in Germany.

The runner up on the ranking is Jose Daniel Martin Dockx on Kimberly van Kampen's PRE stallion Grandioso. Though the pair has only been together for less than a year, the combination has surged to a second place on the National Riders' Ranking and scored 537,946 points.

The top three is completed by Barcelona based Laura Aguilo on the PRE cross-bred Hierro (by Ferro) with 533,545 points.
