Imperio Not to Compete in 2011 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals

The Trakehner licensed stallion Imperio will not be competing in the 2011 Nurnberger Burgpokal finals for small tour horses held annually at the CDI-W Frankfurt in Germany. The bay stallion (by Connery x Bafour xx) has sustained a minor injury.

German magazine Zuchter Forum reported that Hubertus Schmidt will not be trailering Imperio to Frankfurt for the Burgpokal Finals because of this injury. The pair won the qualifier in Bettenrode and were eligible to compete in the grand finals in Frankfurt on 17 December 2011.

Schmidt and Imperio achieved the highest qualification score of the sason with thir 75.10% score.

  • Juliane Brunkhorst - Don Windsor -  73,40 % (Don Windsor sold, will be replaced by Theresa Wahler on Danone II)
  • Nicole Casper - Birkhof's Don Diamond FBW - 72,30 %
  • Nadine Capellmann - Diamond Girl - 69,60 %
  • Matthias Alexander Rath - Dancing Elvis - 72,75 %
  • Steffen Frahm - Damsey     70,15 %
  • Christian Flamm - Lord Fantastic - 69,80 %
