2011 Prinsjesdag Foal Auction

The show jumping colt Get Off (by Numero Uno x Indoctro) became the top selling foal at the 2011 Prinsjesdag Foal Auction held on 20 September 2011 at the KNHS head quarters in Ermelo, The Netherlands.

With an average price 9,300 euro per foal this auction established an excellent average price.

Auctioneer Hans Sinnige knocked down the hammer on 36,000 euro for Get-Off, which sold to Dutchman Bob Prakken. Joseph Klaphake and Ulf Möller were shopping for the German P.S.I. team of Schockemohle and Kasselmann and acquired four foals in total, including the jumper colt Cascade (by Casall la Silla x Contender) for 26,000 euro.

The most expensive dressage foal was the embryotransfer foal Genetic Black (by Jazz x Gribaldi x Ferro). The black colt out of a full sister of Painted Black sold for 25,000 euro to Cok Mudde of Magic Stables.  The colt Gaudi Vita (by Apache x Welt Hit II) sold for 24,000 euro.

Three dressage fillies sold for 15,000 euro: Glowy (by Ampere x Fruhling), Golden Lady Texel (by Totilas x Farmer) and Gorgeous Vurona (by Fürst Heinrich x Negro).

Carolyn de Roo of President Stables and VMF stables jointly acquired five foals: Glowy, Golden Lady Texel, Grand Amour (by United x Jazz), Donatelli (by De Niro x Florencio), and Grandeur (by Charmeur x Krack C).
