Twenty-five more foals will move on to the 2011 German Foal Championships after selection shows held in Bad Arolsen, Marktredwitz and Crawinkel on Sunday 3 July 2011.

A Tambour colt and Sir Donnerhall I filly bested the field at the selection show in Bad Arolsen, Germany. In the colt category Rainer Figgen's Tambour out of Dawina (by Donnerstar) scored the highest points and beat a colt by Royal Classic x Wolkenstein II. A filly by Sir Donnerhall I out of Dorina (by Don Frederico) was the high scorer in the filly division. She is bred by Karl Heinz Hage. Franz Wilhelm Loer's Furstenball x Depardieu finished second.

At the foal show hosted at Dr. Rainer Heuschmann's equestrian centre in Marktredwitz. The colt category was dominated by breeding products of the show host. Rainer and Heide Heuschmann bred the winning colt by Boston x Furst Scholling and the third placed colt by Lossnitz x Don Argentinus. Gunther Reim's Canoso x Weltmeyer colt finished second. A Quadroneur x Linolando filly, bred by Alexandra and Siegfried Weidner, was the female champion.She referred Ulrike Brusis's Benetton Dream x Furstentraum to a second place. She tied with another Benetton Dream out of a Don Bedo dam.

At the foal show in Crawinkel a San Amour x Furst Heinrich colt aced the class. Bred by Steffen Jahn from Berga, Germany, this colt outclassed a Fidertanz x Heraldik xx offspring, bred by Silke Pelzer. In the filly division Agrar's Dijon x Corleone offspring placed first. Jens Riemann's Louis de Funes x L'Ombre was the runner-up.
