British Dressage Pony Selectors announced the team for the Pony European Championships 2011 to be held at Jaszkowo, Poland from 26 – 31 July. After a final assessment show in Hickstead last weekend, the selectors picked an all-girl team with riders ranging from 13 to 16 year old.

As the youngest rider, Erin Williams heads up the all-girl team and will be looking to replicate her April successes with Danny Boy B, where they won both the team and individual pony classes at Keysoe Premier League with plus 70% scores, and dominated at Addington CDIP with an exceptional individual score of 75.48%

Maisie Scruton and Rembrandt DDH impressed in selection to make this their team debut, while Aimee Witkin’s ride Ferrari is no stranger to the Pony Europeans, having competed at Bishop Burton last year with Charlotte Gill. Gabrielle Lucas earns her first Union Jack pocket badge with her palomino gelding Top Star.
