In the weekend of 18 - 19 June 2011, five foal selection shows took place in Germany, where foals could be presented in order to qualify for the 2011 German Foal Championships, held anually in Lienen in the summer.
Especially the F- and D-line bred foals stood out with two Floriscount colts taking first place. The Floriscount x Wolkentanz I colt won the show in Espelkamp-Vehlage and Gestut Darss' Floriscount x Rubiloh colt was the best on at the Kempke Hof Foal show in Plaaz, Germany.
Four offspring by Fürstenball (by Furst Heinrich x Donnerhall x Classiker) also made it to the top rankings making this Oldenburg licensing champion the best represented stallion so far. In Plaaz a Furstenball x Sandro Hit became the winning filly.
