Sissi and Amadelio were the winners of the 5-year old dressage horses classes which counted at Bundeschampionate Qualifier at the national show at Hof Kasselmann in Hagen, Germany on 16 June 2011. The Hagen Bundeschampionate qualifier coincided with the Future Champions CDIO-PJYR event which featured a huge list of international youth riders on the scene.
The first group of 5-year olds was dominated by Andrea Müller-Kersten aboard the Oldenburg mare Sissi 716 (by Sir Donnerhall I x De Niro). The dark bay mare scored 8 for walk, trot and general impression, 7.5 for canter and 8.5 for submission. With a total of 8.0 the pair was the winner of group one and the only combination to qualify for Warendorf. Jörg Dietrich and Sissy (by Sir Donnerhall I x Brentano II) were second with an overall score of 7.8. They got 7.5 for walk and canter and 8s for trot, submission and general impression.
Kathrin Ilgner and the Trakehner stallion Amadelio bested the field in the second group of 5-year olds. The Lehndorff's x Lauries Crusador xx offspring scored 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. They totalled 8.10 and earned the trophy. Laura Hassler and the Westfalian stallion Balesteros (by Belissimo M x Davignon I) were on Ilgner's heels with a total of 8.0. They got 7 for submission, 8s for walk and canter and 8.5 for trot and general impression.
