2011 Dutch Dressage Championships

Dutch number one dressage rider and 2011 World Cup Final winner Adelinde Cornelissen will not be competed at the 2011 Dutch Dressage Championships which are set to take place next week at Outdoor Gelderland in De Steeg, The Netherlands. Cornelissen stated that Parzival is "not fit to compete".

The Nijkerk based dressage rider has decided not to ride in the Championships "because Parzival is not fit to compete after an intensive winter season," as told to the Dutch Equestrian Federation.

The 14-year old Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft) won all World Cup qualifiers entered in and grabbed the World Cup title in Leipzig at end of April as cherry on the cake. The main aim of the season are the 2011 European Dressage Championships in Rotterdam, 17 - 21 August 2011.

The Dutch Equestrian Federation confirmed that Cornelissen is convinced she will be riding at the Dutch EC selection trials in Aachen and Hickstead.
