On Tuesday 17 May 2011 Dutch dressage rider Ton de Kok test rode the five remaining KWPN stallions which are currently participating in the 2011 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Testing taking place at De Driehoekshoeve in Stegeren, The Netherlands.

The KWPN licensing committee released the following commentary after having seen the test rides:

  • Don Tango (Contango x Jazz)
This Contango son is a complete stallion who continues to impress
  • Dorado (Krack C x Rousseau)
This stallion continuously improves and was also today very rideable
  • Diego (Negro x Don Gregory)
A correctly moving Negro son who should be more uphill in all basic gaits. He continues to gain power though
  • Dream Boy (Vivaldi x Ferro)
This stallion has an impressive canter but should have more self carriage in trot
  • Dance Royal (Wynton x Flemmingh)
This sympathetic, rideable Wynton son was very consistent in his performance today

The final exam takes place on Tuesday 24 May 2011.
