The Oldenburger foundation stallion Rohdiamant (by Rubinstein I x Inschallah AA) has injured himself in the paddock quite severely and will no longer be available for the 2011 breeding season.

The 21-year old dark bay stallion is currently stationed at Gestut Lodbergen and was in the paddock when he sustained a comminuted fracture of the right short pastern. The stallion was brought to the equine clinic in Lüsche where he was operated on. He is currently in relatively good health.

Due to this injury, Rohdiamant can not stand at stud this season. "Breeders who have already bred to Rohdiamant this season and whose mares is not in foal, can use another stallion at our station if they have already paid the full stud fee," said a representative of Lodbergen.
