Danish Grand Prix rider Joachim Thomsen has a new top horse at his disposal. It conerns the 10-year old internationally competed Lusingando (by Lanciano x Lucky Light) who is closely related to Mary Hanna's Olympic mount Limbo.

Lusingando is owned by Vivi and Christian Vang Lauridsen and is bred by Jørgen Dahl. The bay gelding was previously competed by British Emile Faurie, who placed well with him at the 2011 CDI Vidauban in March.

Together with his partner, trainer Rune Willum, Thomsen hopes to improve the gelding at Grand Prix level and be back in the big time this year by competing him.

"I'm totally ecstatic that Lusingando is coming to us," Thomsen told Ridehesten.com. "He's the third horse of Vivi Vang Lauridsen here in the stable and we're happy about the good collaboration."
