Three American Riders to Compete at 2011 World Cup Finals

2011 World Cup Finals

Three American dressage riders will be competing at the 2011 World Cup Finals in Leipzig, Germany, on 27 April - 1 May 2011. The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) announced that Jan Ebeling, Shawna Harding and Catherine Haddad will be defending the Star Spangled banner in Germany.

The United States will be represented by two combinations from the North American League and one from the Western European League.

North American League*

  • Jan Ebeling (52, Moorpark, CA) aboard the 14-year old Oldenburg mare Rafalca, owned by Ann Romney
  • Shawna Harding (41, Aiken, SC) aboard her own 12-year old Danish warmbloog gelding Come On III

*Tina Konyot (Palm City, FL) topped the standings in the North American League for 2010-2011 season but declined the opportunity to compete in the 2011 Final.

Western European League

  • Catherine Haddad (47, Vechta, Germany) aboard her own 11-year old Hanoverian gelding Winyamaro
