The next highlight in Münster-Handorf is the 41st NRW Elite Auction on 10th of April 2011. Fifty-one riding horses and si riding ponies are included in the collection which will be online till the end of February.
The complete collection (incl. video and pictures) will be on the internet by mid-march on www.westfalenpferde.de. In addition, 15 selected elite foals will be auctioned.
The first special presentation was on Monday 21 March 2011 and was live-broadcast on the internet. The recordings are now available in the archive on www.clipmyhorse.de.
Safety First
The Westfalian verband is the first of the big foreign breeding associations which decided to show their young dressage collection with
riders wearing a helmet! Furthermore the verband focuses on presenting their horses in a good and natural way like the horses are always ridden.
"This is the right signal and the correct approach to present young horses," said press officer Vekens. "Previously only the jumping riders wore helmets but now all riders do."
