2011 Classical Sales Warendorf

Who are the role models of the equestrian world? That is what German magazine “Cavallo” asked its readers this year for the second time. Readers were able to nominate their role models in the horse world in the categories

of “Animal-friendliness”, “Yard”, “Event”, “Business” and “Personality” - and in the “Event” category, the winners were Susanne Miesner and Fabian Scholz for “Classical Sales Warendorf”, the unique auction concept combining harmonious training and presentation of the sales horses with respectful handling and stable management.

Overwhelmed with joy, the CSW creators received their award today in the Main Ring at the Equitana horse fair.

The third edition of Classical Sales Warendorf will be held on April 7 at 7pm. The 22 top-quality auction horses can be viewed at a presentation at 11am on March 20 at the Wietelshof.  In the carefully-chosen collection there are talents ranging from three to seven-year-olds from different breeding areas. They come from sires such as Fidertanz, Sir Donnerhall, Londonderry, Weltmeyer, Dormello, Ehrentusch and Lord Loxley, to name but a few.

The CSW auction places a lot of emphasis on classical, supportive and gymnasticising training methods for its auction horses. The horses can balance out the dressage training by relaxing in grass or sand paddocks. Previous CSW success stories, including the Bundeschampionat contender Freak Blue Phantom or the bronze medallist at the Westphalian Championships for Young Riders, Fritz San Tino, underline the concept’s success.

Photos and videos can be found on the Internet, where tickets for the auction or a catalogue of all the horses can also be ordered:
