A Baden-Wurttemberger branded San Amour offspring whipped out the best performances at the 2011 South German Stallion Licensing in Munich and was proclaimed champion stallion. He was one of 33 approved stallions out of a collection of 79.
From the start the San Amour colt was one of the favourites of the public, excelling with his modern conformation and uphill basic gaits. Even though the black stallion is a bit long in the back, he always moved with good engagement from behind. The champion is bred by Sabine Reisenauer and presented by Harald Kocher from Ditzingen, Germany. This 2008 born colt is by San Amour out of State Premium mare Candlelight (by Cabaret x Campari M). He was discovered by Kocher at the South German Elite Foal Auction.
A bay Bavarian bred Captain Fire x Golden Joy x Lincoln was proclaimed show jumping champion of the licensing. The bay had decent gaits, a strong conformation and very good jumping potential.
The reserve champion of the licensing was a gorgeous, elastic Bavarian branded black stallion by Dr. Doolittle x Rubin Royal x Rothenburg. He is owned by Gerd Kraft of Gestut St. Ludwig.
A Quaterback x Paradiesvogel x Kolibri colt ranked third and was especially liked by the crowds as they applauded much for this chestnut. He is owned and presented by Landgestüt Neustadt/Dosse.
Twelve colts became premium stallions. They were all shown on the lunge line and publicly commented on by Dr. Dietrich Plewa.
