The Swedish Dressage Trainers Club has voted Kerstin André Swedish Dressage Trainer of the Year 2010. She will receive a special prize during an award ceremony at the 2011 CDI-W Gothenburg in February.
The club praised Andre for being "very devoted to her training role. She has a very strong commitment to her combinations as well as to training for competitions."
André has successfully trained pairs from novice and young horse level up to Grand Prix both on a national and international level. Daughter Pernilla André-Hokfelt, cousins Mia and Ebba von Essen, Mattias Jansson, Nina Bengtsson and Susanne Gielen are counted amongst her winning students.
She will be awarded a cheque of 15,000 Swedish Kroner at the Goteborg Horse Show.
