German Stallion Owners to Meet at 2011 General Assembly in Munster

The confederation of German Stallion Owners will be meeting at their general assembly at the LVM Insurance Company building in Munster, Germany, on 12 January 2011.

Eight speakers will be addressing the audience on various topics relating to the management of a stallion station as well as stallions in competition. Norbert Steghaus of LVM Insurance will give the world of welcome.

Thomas Casper, president of the German stallion owners' confederation, will review 2010 and talk about the 2011 World Cup Finals in Leipzig, while Petra Wilm (president of the Trakehner association) will discuss the treaty on semen transportation. Nortbert Boley is to tackle some financial issues on stud fees, while WBFSF board member Dr. Klaus Miesner will look at the breeding of horses in the future and together with Casper they'll talk about the importance of X-rays for stallions. Wilhelm Holkenbrink will divulge on the EU-regulated taxation of stallion stations.
