Du Soleil, one of the most gifted 6-year old dressage horses which competed at the 2010 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, has been sold to Sven Rothenberger.
The liver chestnut Hanoverian by De Niro x Caprimond is bred by Sven Kahrens and was owned by Burkhard Wahler. and competed successfully under Austrian Saskia Lieben-Seutter at the 2010 World Championships in Verden and at the 2010 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany, two weeks ago.
"We looked at the 6-year old dressage horses in Warendorf and were so impressed by Du Soleil that we had to buy the horse," Rothenberger explained. "He completely convinced us of his qualities and look forward to working with this fun youngster."
