The Belgian Equestrian Federation invited riders, grooms, chefs d'equipe and the media to the Castle Diepensteyn in Steenhuffel, Belgium, on Monday evening 13 September 2010 for the official Belgian WEG Team presentation.
Three riders of Belgian Dressage Team (Devroe, Van Ingelgem, Jorissen) were already known; a fourth rider (Claudia Fassaert on Donnerfee) was nominated but her selection was finally confirmed at the evening of this media presentation.
The Belgian dressage horses are four out of 550 in total that will compete at the 2010 World Equestrian Games. They will leave on Saturday 18 September from the Liege airport in Belgium. The horses fly to Cincinnati where they go into quarantine for two days before heading to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
The dressage competition starts on Monday 27 September 2010 with the first group of Grand Prix riders.
