The FEI, its stakeholders and the International Dressage Riders Club have proposed numerous changes to the 2011 FEI Dressage Rules and the IDRC now invites its members to review these and send comments or questions to the IDRC board

so that they can fine tune their recommendations and accommodate the needs of all riders.

"These rules will affect every rider so it is important that they review these and forward any comments or changes to me before 15 July," said IDRC secretary-general Wayne Channon.

Fourty-one changes have been proposed and they can be viewed here. They have been highlighted in red for ease of reference and start on page 31.

Highlights of the proposed changes include an increase in prize money for 3, 4 and 5-star events and the allowance of updated colours for tailcoats, noise cancelling earmuffs for horses in prize giving ceremonies, covered bits, and fixed curb chain hooks.
