Professional young horse dressage riders steered their mounts straight into the winner's circle at the Bundeschampionate qualifier in Vlotho-Exter on 3 - 4 July 2010. Henrike Sommer and Helen Langehanenberg won the L and M-level Dressage Horse test with 8 plus scores.
Henrike Sommer and the bay Westfalian stallion Kingston (by Krack C x Apart) won the 5-year old division. The Russian owned Munster auction horse scored 8.2 to earn the trophy. Heike Klausing and the Hanoverian licensed stallion Christ (by Competent x Picard) finished second with 8.10 followed by Clemens von Merveldt on the chestnut licensed stallion Floriscount (by Florencio x Donnerhall) with 8.0.
In the 6-year old division German Grand Prix B-team rider Helen Langehanenberg took highest honour with Royal Happiness. The combination scored 8.10 and left fifteen other competitors behind her. Yvonne Reiser and the licensed stallion Benneton Dream (by Brentano II x Rotspon) slotted in second with 8.0. Spanish Juan Manual Vidal and the Vechta auction price highlight Somerset (by Stedinger x Rubinstein) ranked third with 7.70
