Moneymaker and Hevona have won the 2010 Bundeschampionate Qualifier in Neuss-Grefrath on 14 - 16 May 2010. This regional show was a big success story for Ton de Ridder and his students. Three horses entered, three qualified for the Bundeschampionate.
De Ridder's student Max Wadenspanner won the 5-year old dressage horse division on his own Oldenburg bred Moneymaker (by Munchhausen). The pair scored 8.4 and referred Oliver Oelrich with Schöne Aussicht OLD (by Sandro Hit) to second place (8.3). Geertje Hesse and his 2009 Bundeschampion Preziosa (by Belissimo M) slotted in third with 8.2.
Former young rider Katharina Winkelhues won the 6-year old dressage horse test with the Hanoverian branded Hevona (by Hohenstein). The duo received an 8.2 score from the panel of judges. Geertje Hesse and Nadine Capellmann's Comtessa (by Royal Hit) landed a second place with 8.1, while Marion Engelen and Show Boy (by Show Star) finished third on 8.0.
