Record Number of Candidates for 2010 BWP Stallion Licensing

A record number of 119 colts have been entered for the 2010 BWP stallion licensing. In recent years, the number of candidates has never been so high. For 2010 there is a substantial increase compared to the number of 88 candidates last year.

No less than 75 of the 119 entered candidates are BWP registered stallions:

- 71 BWP jumping candidates;
- 4 BWP dressage candidates;
- 14 non-BWP dressage candidates;
- 30 non-BWP jumping candidates.

The second phase of the BWP stallion licensing takes place at “Zilveren Spoor” in Moorsele on 14-16 January 2010. The third phase of the BWP stallion selection is at “De Warre” in Neeroeteren on 10-13 March 2010.

The pathetically low number of BWP dressage candidates include:
