The P.S.I. Auction will be 30 years old. This birthday will be celebrated in Ankum on December 12-13, 2009 and along with it a select collection of young dressage and jumping aspirants is for sale at auction.

The website for the most important riding horse auction has been completely redesigned in time for the 30th P.S.I. and now offers information in six languages: Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French, English and German. So much service is unrivalled!

The reputation of the P.S.I. is great. The first Performance Sales International, which took place almost 30 years ago in the USA, created plenty of sensation and up till today is justified decisively through the quality of the horses selected by Paul Schockemoehle (Muehlen) and Ullrich Kasselmann (Hagen) with great diligence and an immense portion of "horse sense".

A total of 25 dressage horses from three to six years of age out of the warmblood breeding areas Hanover, Oldenburg, Trakehner, Westphalia, Rhineland and one Andalusia mare are in the auction lot. The jumping horse collection is comprised of 27 horses from the German warmblood breeding areas as well as horses from Belgium and The Netherlands.

Included are candidates such as the Trakehner champion and winning stallion of the 2007 approvals "Grand Passion" or the Rhineland approved stallion For Compliment, who has already passed along his super movement to two generations of foals. Many offspring of the world class stallion Dobel's Cento are included in the jumping collection and horses who have already made themselves known by the world championships for young dressage and jumping horses.

The 52 P.S.I. candidates 2009 are already online for viewing at www.psi-auktion.de. Pedigree and video give further information about the quality of the horses.

The auction lot is owned by Paul Schockemoehle and Ullrich Kasselmann and were in part home bred or purchased as foals and then raised with care. The auction riders have known the candidates for at least one year and therefore are able to give very detailed information.

There is a special service that is P.S.I. specific for the auction horses: insurance for the complete purchase price of the horse for two weeks after the auction, a full veterinary report, smooth purchase and organisation of transport. When requested it is possible to organise training for horse and rider.

The first presentation of the P.S.I. dressage horses will take place Saturday, December 5th at 6 p.m. in Ankum and is available to watch live in the internet. Starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9th the dressage horses will be presented again.
