Dutch equestrian site Horses of the Dutch reported that O-judge Ghislain Fouarge has been injured in a riding accident. On Monday, the Noorbeek based judge was hacking in the woods and fell of his horse.

He could not get up and his wife brought him to the emergency room.

Ghislain's wife Marly Fouarge was walking the dogs in the woods when she found her husband's horse without rider. She went looking for her husband. "He had fallen off his horse and couldn't get up by himself," Marly told Horses of the Dutch. "I mounted the horse quickly and rode home. I returned with the jeep to pick up Ghislain. It's scary to see him lying like that. He had his eyes closed and was complaining about severe pain to his head and neck. He couldn't remember the accident but the rest of his memory was fine. Hopefully we'll know more soon."

At the moment it is unclear how severe his condition is. A second MRI of his head has been made today.
