2009 CDIO Aachen
The Dutch Equestrian Federation announced the Dutch team that will compete in the nations' competition at the CDIO Aachen July 1-5, 2009.
At the a press conference at the CDIO Rotterdam on Thursday, Dutch chef d'equipe and team trainer Sjef Janssen stated that not Aachen but the CDIO Hickstead will be the final Dutch selection trial for the 2009 European Dressage Championships. The Dutch A-team riders will also have to present their horses in one final " test show," in which they have to confirm their form and fitness.
The Dutch team that will compete in Aachen includes:
- Marlies van Baalen - Ojay or Kigali
- Anky van Grunsven - Salinero
- Sander Marijnissen - Moedwil
- Hans-Peter Minderhoud - Nadine (Escapado will do the CDI tour)
These same riders are also presenting the small tour horses:
- Marlies van Baalen - Miciano
- Anky van Grunsven - Nelson
- Sander Marijnissen - Sander
- Hans-Peter Minderhoud - Florencio
