The Hessian licensed breeding stallion Tannenhofs Lucky Dance has been sold to the Belgian FEI rider Julie de Deken. The 8-year old bay stallion will move to the stables of Tineke Bartels, where De Deken has been training for years.

Lucky Dance was bred by his previous owner, Klaus Plonzke from Gestut Tannenhof. He is by Lucky Lionell out of Petite Fleur (by Placido Sun x Pik Bube). He was the reserve champion at the 2003 Hessian Stallion Licensing and scored a 10 for rideability at the 2004 30-day Stallion performance Testing. Tannenhof's former young horse trainer Katrin Luze competed Lucky Dance in the young horses classes and the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Bundeschampionate.

Anja Plonzke took over the ride on this massive stallion and showed him in his first Prix St Georges test in the spring of 2009. At the CDI Neuhofen in May, they won the Intermediaire I and placed third in the Prix St Georges and Inter 1 Kur to Music.

De Deken will prepare Lucky Dance to compete at Prix St Georges level during the 2010 show season. Her number one horse Fazzino, a bronze medallist at the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, will make the transition to Grand Prix level this autumn. De Deken is also slowly training a super talented 6-year old Furst Heinrich offspring, Furst Choice, for the PSG tour.
