2009 Classical Sales Warendorf

Classical Sales is an auction made up of a select group of talented horses chosen from breeders and owners known for following guidelines based on good care and training methods and sound horsemanship.

Susanne Miesner, with her experience in the classical training methods of horse and rider and Fabian Scholz, with his good reputation in sales, are two ideal partners who can help you choose the horse that can carry you to achieve set goals and enjoy many fulfilling moments on horseback.

Susanne Miesner

For thirty years, Susanne Miesner has been an internationally-respected and successful trainer of horses and riders. She holds a Master's degree in riding, awarded with the Stensbeck Medal, which is only given to the top five percent in the class. She also has a Master's degree in Agriculture. Her main trainers have been Herbert Rehbein, Fritz Tempelmann and Johann Hinnemann.

Susanne has made a name for herself in the field of practical riding, as well as in the discussion and theory of riding. With young horses, she has had numerous wins and top placings, including championships and the Bundeschampionat. Her most unforgettable rides were with Ronaldo, the only horse ever to receive a score of 9.5 twice in a Bundeschampionat.

Susanne has trained several horses to Grand Prix, and showed them successfully, with top placings at events such as Aachen, Devon, and the German Professional Championships, at a time when this event was dominated by men. Susanne's experience and knowledge in correct riding and training is proven by the fact that she has been invited as a test rider for many events, including stallion testing stations, the Bundeschampionat and the Pavo Cup in the Netherlands.

Susanne is also an expert on the theoretical part of riding, and is one of the three main authors of "The Principles of Riding" by the German National Equestrian Federation. Writing this book gave her the opportunity to discuss riding and horse theory with some of the best personalities in the horse world. Susanne has been responsible for numerous books and videos for the FN-Verlag (German Equestrian Publishing House). She has also been a member of the testing committee of the German "Bereiters" for the past fifteen years.

In clinics, speeches and seminars, Susanne Miesner has proven that the classical principles of riding are the most natural and best for the horse and will give it the best foundation for further training.

Fabian Scholz

Co-founder of Classical Sales Warendorf is Fabian Scholz. Originally from Berlin, Fabian was enthusiastic about horses from an early age. Eager to pursue a life with horses, he went to Baden-Württemberg to a training stable where he got his foundation for his career as a horseman. Next he came to Warendorf to the Sportinternat boarding school. The flair of the horse town of Warendorf, along with his contacts to other horse people in the city, convinced him to settle there.

Training horse and rider is what Fabian loves best, and in 2007 he received his Master's degree. He is gifted in finding talented young horses and giving them the correct management and having them shown successfully. His horses have participated in numerous championships, including the Bundeschampionat and the World Championships for Young Horses, where he was capable of having horses in all three disciplines: dressage, jumping, and eventing. These talented young horses are ridden by experienced riders under Fabian's guidance.

Fabian Scholz truly enjoys his work and takes great pride in finding the right horses for his clients. He cares about the well-being of his horses and always wants to find the perfect match of horse and rider. Through his many years in horse marketing, he has a great sense of what his customers need, and he has a wonderful ability to connect with people to learn what they are looking for in their perfect horse.
