2008 European Pony Championships
The Danish Equestrian Federation and Danish pony chef d'equipe Vibeke Degn Andersen released the short list of pony combinations from which a definite team will be picked that will represent Denmark at the 2008 European Pony Championships in Avenches, Switzerland
, July 24-27, 2008. The official Danish Pony Team will be announced begin July.
The Danish Pony Short List includes
- Sofie Seeman - Ferrari
- Nanna Skodborg Merrald - Centrum
- Sofie Hougaard - Dornick Son
- Nanna Bronnée Madsen - Armando
- Trine Stuhr - Modderbeeks Flo
- Christina Møller - Casio
- Rikke Lindberg - Brooklands Moonwalker
- Marlene Storkborg - Ulfenbach Desiree
- Camilla Bekkevold - Consider
This weekend the 2008 Nordic Baltic Championships take place in Skovde, Sweden, where the top Danish combinations are competing. Based on these results, the ones produced during the 2008 show season, and the form shown at the pony clinics in Denmark, the chef d'equipe will pick the team.
