2008 European Pony Championships
The Belgian Equestrian Federation and Belgian pony Chef d'Equipe Laurence van Doorslaer announced the pony team that will represent Belgium at the 2008 European Pony Championships in Avenches, Switzerland, July 24-27, 2008.
The Belgian Pony Team includes
- Alexa Fairchild - Neerveld's Blamoer
- Noemie Goris - Alexandre Dumas
- Julie Van Olst - Haasendonck's Sultan
- Jorinde Verwimp- Tonkawa SD
- Reserve : Laurence Roos - Derengo
Belgium has two good shots at winning medals at the European Championships. At the CDIO-P Saumur they already placed third in the nations' cup and Belgian individual combination Julie van Olst and Haasendoncks Sultan have been beating Dutch and German pony riders at several international pony competitions in Europe this show season! Thumbs up and fingers crossed for them!
