Hanoverian Auctions in Verden

70 Hanoverian riding horses were sold at an average auction sales price of 14,380 euro at the May-Auction on May 3, 2008 in Verden. Top-priced horse was the Lux/Wendekreis-son Le Petite Prince (breeder: Jens Kvist, Denmark, exhibitor: Carsten Mueller-Rulfs, Ritterhude), sold at 40,000 €. The bay horse is talented for both disciplines and will be trained for dressage sport in Canada.

With an auction sales price of 38,000 €, two horses follow on the price scale: The dressage horse Dallmayer by Donautanz/Raphael (breeder and exhibitor: Marion Gabel, Kreuzebra) will find his new home in Schleswig-Holstein, and the jumper Graf Lorenz by Granulit/Paros (breeder: Heinz Lorenz, Regesbostel, exhibitor: Friedo Matthies, Rosengarten) was sold to Spain.

"Everything is ok" was the short comment of Dr. Guenther Friemel after his first riding horse auction as auction manager.

41 horses were sold to foreign countries, an impressive quota especially for China with nine horses. Seven horses will travel to France, each five to the United States and the Netherlands. 29 Hanoverian horses will stay in Germany.
