The 3-year old mare Anabell won the 2007 Baden-Wurttemberg Elite Mark Show held at the 7th Franz-Strahl Regional Mare Championships in Weilheim, Germany, October 3, 2007.

More than 140 mares attended the show and there were sixty-seven 2-year olds. The overall Baden Wurttemberg Mare Champion is Anabell, a 3-year old Acordelli x Latus II x Calypso I offspring, bred by Gerhard Pfeiffer from Wellendingen. She was picked as champion from the ages classes of 3, 4 and 5-year olds. Not only in hand, but also under saddle did this mare impress with her quality. She scored 8.33 in the mare performance test and won the testing in Göppingen. Anabell will be sold over the Baden Wurttemberg Elite Auction in Marbach on November 10, 2007.

The overall reserve champion was the 3-year old Soraya, by Sir Oldenburg x Lique de Bryere. This mare, who placed second at the Marbach Gaits in Freedom show, is bred and owned by Lothar Lilge.

The winner in the 2-year old class was a Chambertin x Alcatrez mare, bred by Wolfgang Rettenmeier and owned by Karin Rettenmeier. Two-year old reserve champion was Allround, by Acordelli.

In the 4- and 5-year old class, the judges put the champion's ribbon on Sunshine Lady (by Sir Oldenburg x Carprilli), bred and owned by Willy Waidelich. Dr. Hagen Nowottny's mare Milesia (Matchos As x Ricordo di Leny) was the runner up.

The 6-year old Romantik Lady won the 6 to 9-year old division. This mare is by Rohdiamant out of the 2002 German National Mare Champion Donna Romantika. She is owned by Dieter and Heike Blessing. Sandra Seitz' mare Daylight R (Danny de Vito x Ehrentusch) was the reserve champion.

Evita, a 10-year old Rautenstein x Leonhard mare, won the class for 10-year old and older mares. Evita is owned by Dieter Doll, president of the Baden Wurttemberger Breed Society. Reserve in the class was La Primera G (Limbus x Lorent), bred and owned by Erich Glöckler

In the produce of dam class, the mare family of Richard Haizmann's brood mare Caro (Carolus x Adriano) took highest honours.
