A new record has once again been set at the 2007 Oldenburg Foal Auction in Vechta, Germany. The foal Sabeltanz sold for 127,000 euro and broke the record price of 110,000 euro for Fursten Ball paid last year by the Danish Lone Boegh Henriksen.

The second most expensive foal was the filly Elfenschau, purchased by dressage rider Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff for 72,000 euro. This Florencio x De Niro filly is bred by Ewald Groteluschen, who last year sold his foal Florion to Austria for 52,000 euro.

Linsenhoff also purchased Danönchen, a Danone x Rohdiamant colt bred by the French Xavier Marie, for 46,000 euro.
