The KWPN licensed stallion Prestige VDL has been sold to New Zealand. The bay stallion by Silvano N x Goodtimes has been sold to Lisa Blackbourn

and will arrive down under at the end of September, where he will stand at stud immediately. Blackbourn will also focus on the stallion's dressage career as she has planned to compete him at FEI level.

"I will start competing him at Prix St Georges level once we have formed a partnership with the goal of starting him GP by the end of 2008. He is an incredibly talented horse, especially for the Grand Prix movements, and his character is exceptional. He really wants to work for you. I feel very honored to own such a fantastic horse," Blackbourn told Eurodressage.

Prestige VDL is approved for the Dutch and Swedish warmblood society and was formerly owned by VDL Stud and ridden by Edward Gal. In 2004 he won the KWPN Stallion Competition and then moved to Gal for FEI level training. The now 10-year old stallion competed only a few times at Prix St Georges level under Gal.
