Six-year old World Champion Deveraux has been sold to Sanneke Rothenberger from Bad Homburg , Germany . The black Oldenburg gelding is her second horse and partner for her future dressage career.

The 14-year old Sanneke, who is a gold medal winning German pony team rider, is currently competing at both FEI pony level and Junior Riders level.

Deveraux is an Oldenburg gelding by De Niro x Rohdiamant and won the 2007 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden , Germany , on August 5, 2007 . Under the Dutch Miranda Rongen, Deveraux claimed the World Champion’s title with top scores. The judges awarded the gelding 9.0 for trot, 8.7 for walk, 8.9 for canter, and 9.5 for submission and general impression.

“Deveraux is the perfect junior riders horse for Sanneke,” father Sven Rothenberger said. “He’s got three outstanding basic gaits, has incredible cadence and is very light in the contact with the bit. He is ready to do the junior riders’ test and only needs to get used to the double bridle. We are thrilled that we were able to buy such a top quality dressage horse for our daughter.”

Deveraux will be stall mates with Sanneke’s second FEI horse Paso Doble (by Don Primero). At the 2007 German Youth Riders Championships in Steinfeld , Germany , August 12, 2007 , Sanneke made history by winning the silver medal at FEI pony level with Konrad and at Junior Riders level with Paso Doble. She is the first German youth rider to win two medals in two divisions at the national youth riders dressage championships.
