Colombian Olympic dressage rider Dr. Cesar Parra and his long time partner Anne Sparks-Whitten of Horses Unlimited have decided to go separate ways and have ended their business relationship.

On January 14, 2007, Horses Unlimited moved eight horses out of Parra's Performance Stables in Jupiter, Florida, and, for the moment, has relocated them at Mikala Gunderson's farm in Wellington, Florida.

"Horses Unlimited and Cesar were able to accomplish many things together which I’m very thankful for but I’ve decided to take Horses Unlimited in a different direction due to personal differences," Anne Whitten told Eurodressage.

Parra booked his paramount international successes aboard Horses Unlimited's horses, taking Pik L and Galant du Serein from the Pan American Games to the World Cup Finals, Olympic Games, and World Equestrian Games. Whitten took with her Galant du Serein, Pik L, Wild Dance, Leonberg, and four youngsters.

"I am very grateful for all the years of support and sponsorship that I have received from Horses Unlimited. It is a shame that our relationship has come to an end, but I wish Anne all the best with her breeding farm. She owns top quality horses and I hope that things will work out for her in the future" Parra explained.

Parra, who is in the process of becoming an American citizen, has turned his full attention to training and competing his own horses. He will be showing the phenomenal Rhinelander gelding Furst Fabio (by Fidermark) at Prix St Georges level and the Bundeschampionate Reserve Champion Donavan in the FEI 6-year old young horses classes.

"Fabio is coming along really well and it's a dream to ride him every day. Donavan I aim to qualify for the 2007 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses hosted in Verden, Germany," Parra said. "I thank God that I can own and ride two such great horses and am looking for a partner who wants to share this experience with me."
